McGeorge Contracting Company Inc. is an Arkansas company, locally owned and operated since its inception in 1946. Our corporate offices are in White Hall, Arkansas, and our operations office is in Little Rock. We have a deep understanding of Arkansas’ landscape and its resources, with cumulative lifetimes of experience in building with native materials.

Of course, our community commitment goes far beyond jobs. McGeorge is made up of 400+ locally based Arkansas employees. We live here, work here and retire here. The vast majority of our leaders and employees count their tenure with McGeorge in decades, rather than years, so when we call ourselves a family, we mean it.

A View of Our History

We have deep roots and lots of stories. Here are just a few glimpses into our past.

  • This gravel pit in Wynne, Arkansas, yielded key materials for growth and progress

  • Soil is tested on an early highway project.

  • Early model dirt and rock excavation equipment being put to good use.

  • Strip mining in Bauxite, Arkansas, in the 1940s.

  • After the blast (1940s).

  • ALCOA and McGeorge produced precious aluminum to build airplanes during World War II, which was a major contributor to victory.

  • An early model scraper helps a highway take shape.

  • Initial GMQ Plant #1 Construction, Gyro Crushing Facility.

Trinity Foundation

McGeorge Contracting Company supports education, community efforts and the arts through the Trinity Foundation, a philanthropic organization operated by our parent company.
