We’re ready for our first-ever online tradeshow and convention. For the upcoming Arkansas Environmental Federation (AEF) event, McGeorge will have a virtual booth where attendees can make appointments to speak with one of our four representatives.
Haskell Dickinson II, vice president of McGeorge Contracting and AEF board member, will make an appearance introducing Stephanie Wilkerson on Wednesday the 18th at 11:50am. Mrs. Wilkerson is with Harbor Environmental and Safety in Chicago and will be discussing environmental disclosures. Voluntary environmental disclosures may reveal a firm's environmental commitment in areas such as environment-related governance structure, environmental management systems, and management's environmental vision and strategy.
McGeorge has supported the AEF since its inception in 1967. The Arkansas State Chamber saw a need to support industries that fall under environmental regulation. Members are manufacturers, lawyers, lobbyists, consultants, power companies, municipalities, construction companies, hospitals and colleges. AEF represents a vast range of interests with a common goal: sensible regulation that simultaneously promotes economic growth and environmental protection.
The organization offers a variety of educational opportunities, most of which qualify for continuing education. It also represents members at the state capitol and before regulators, for statute negotiation and rule development.
